An award-winning EP at another production company took me under his wings and became my mentor because he liked my hustle and groomed me on how to create reality TV show formats and he referred me to pitch my shows to them and told me I should go work for them because he thought I would be a great fit for their company due to me being gay and my shows are centered on gay people. Other than that one bad experience, it was a great place to work. But, alas haters are gonna hate and they're everywhere you go. I lost my job due to someone feeling threatened my me but that's life. You win some, you lose some. Controller in Los Angeles, CA Fun place to work, with diverse personalities, both on staff and in management. Ultimately, not a permanent job situation. Assistant Editor in Hollywood, CA I learned a lot working there briefly. Too bad it was a short-lived job. I lost the job when the show won the TCA Award for Best Reality TV show and the Union came in and made it a Union show. At least that was the official reason given to me as to why I was let go but I think it was political in nature. One of the lead AEs who just got promoted to Supervisor was a nosy woman and was very jealous that I got the job through a high level connection. She made comments to me about how it was because I knew one of the Co-Presidents there in front of other colleagues but what she didn't know was that I pitched four shows to the company and when they couldn't find a home for my shows at any Networks because my shows we're too risque for Middle America, I asked for a job with them.

Production Assistant in Hollywood, CA This was the best job I ever had. A typical day at work for me would've included going to various vendors and studios to pick up and deliver material.
