You would think that you could go to work in a safe work environment but not at Glencore. Harassment and bullying is the daily norm coming from upper management and foremans. Production come first before safety and workers are always under threat of being fired. Constantly lying to Worksafe NB and covering up accident. mentally and physically exhausting. extremely toxic environment (Thallium, Lead, Arsenic) and mercury but will tell you we dont have any in the plant STAY AWAY FROM GLENCORE is the best advice i can give I would give zero stars if I could. Harassment and bullying by management is the daily norm. Unsafe work conditions and they sooner blame the worker than address the problem. Constantly lying to worksafe NB and covering up accidents by lying and destroying evidence. Really can't say enough bad things about this company and it's management team. Pros Decent wage for area though still grossly underpaid for the industry Cons Poison environment both physical and mental Trades are under paid for the extremely toxic environment both physically and mentally.

Staff are micromanaged to point of stress leave, harassement from higher management was a daily occurrence. The gap between worker and management was completely disconnected relax environment with lots of support and focused of driven results, encourage new ideas and out side the box thinking. Kpi driven and location of site in desirable area. Avoid at all cost. Management is horrible. They harass the employees and bully to get work done unsafe. Safety is horrible at this site! No respect from supervision and management. worked there 2 years and i really miss the place nice camp and good food and excellent people the equipment is top shape the repair as soon as you mark something on your work card I enjoyed going to work since I've really never had a job that I've hated. I worked 12 hour shifts (days & nights). Most job were clean jobs but others were very dirty. Zero HARM is very big at Glencore which was great since they really pushed safety. There's a lot of opportunity in training which I did take advantage of.
